Washington, Sept 05, 2024.- Marines participated in a special patrol insertion and extraction rigging during a helicopter rope suspension techniques sustainment exercise at Kin Blue Training Area, Okinawa, Japan. The exercise included fast-roping, rappelling and helocasting.
Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit provide a flexible and lethal force, ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
