Washington, Jan 14, 2024.- Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder provided the following update on Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III’s health status:
Secretary Austin remains hospitalized at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and is in good condition.
We have no updates to provide at this time regarding his release from the hospital but will continue to provide daily updates until then.
