He is being treated as a private hospital in Chelsea, west London, where his wife Dwina, brother Barry, and three chilfren has been on his beadside.
Last month the star underwent surgery for an going-problem with a twisted bowel.
The same hereditary intestinal condition led to the death of his twin broter Maurice at the age of 53.
